The objective of this research was to identify the impact of economic diplomacy on Paraguay’s
exports during the period 2000-2019. To this end, a gravity model was used, with crosssectional
data. A sample of 15 countries was considered, prioritizing Paraguay’s trading
partners with higher levels of exports and diplomatic offices. One of the main findings
was that the impact of economic diplomacy on exports was determined. Likewise, among
the conclusions, the importance of deepening diplomatic work as a strategy to collaborate
with the expansion of exports was highlighted.
