Internships as learning experience in the context of higher education of International Relations

This article contributes to the expansion of debates about the internships`role in the context
of higher education in Bachelor of International Relations. In Brazil, the internship is
characterized in terms of the Internship Law and it has been defined as a relevant tool in the
teaching-learning processes. Through qualitative approach, documental and bibliographic
sources with exploratory purpose, the general objective is to present the significant gap in
the analysis of the internships carried out by the students of the aforementioned course,
discussing the activities`contribution as a learning experience to the formation of students’
skills and competences.
