A “identidade latino-americana” e a integração regional: o projeto da rede de comunicação Telesur
Abstract
A rede de comunicação multiestatal Telesur (da qual fazem parte Venezuela, Argentina, Cuba, Uruguai e Bolívia) se auto-representa como estando a serviço do ideal bolivariano de integração latino-americana. Para alcançar tal objetivo, vem divulgando o que define como “pluralidade de vozes” dos povos latino-americanos, em uma tentativa de construção cultural do que pode ser entendida como uma “identidade” regional. Sendo assim, este trabalho pretende analisar e discutir especificamente o modo como efetivamente a rede tenta construir tal “identidade latino-americana” e, em uma dimensão mais geral, os processos de objetivação cultural através dos meios de comunicação de massa.Palavras-chave: Telesul, comunicação na América Latina, identidade latinoamericana.Downloads
