Is it possible to think about the disciplinary field from the perspective of the
insurgent cosmopolitics of indigenous peoples against the State, Capitalism and
Patriarchy? This work considers the thought and praxis of the neo-zapatista
movement and seeks a possible interpretation of this meta-theory as a discourse
on international relations from a different standpoint. The work thus makes a
bibliographic review and theoretical reflection on the elements of cosmopolitics
on which Zapatista Autonomy is grounded and points out the dimensions in which
this meta-theory, from their collective voice and the situated feeling-thought of the
peoples, makes claims on global politics.
