Abstract

O Programa das Nações Unidas para o Desenvolvimento (PNUD) se autodefine como uma rede global de desenvolvimento que conecta os países a conhecimento, experiência e recursos para ajudar as pessoas a construírem uma vida melhor. Ele mantém atividades em 166 países e sua missão passa por ajudar os países em seus esforços para alcançar o desenvolvimento humano sustentável. Em seus 40 de existência, o PNUD passou por diversas alterações, refletindo as mudanças econômicas, sociais e políticas apresentadas pelo mundo ao longo desses anos.
