A atuação da rede transnacional de direitos humanos no México durante os governos Salinas e Zedillo
Abstract
Durante décadas, prevaleceu no México uma política externa nacionalista, defensiva e legalista, calcada na defesa de princípios do direito internacional como não-intervenção e autodeterminação, correspondendo às necessidades de crescimento de uma economia mista e fechada, e aos requerimentos de legitimidade e estabilidade de um regime político autoritário, presidencialista, de partido dominante e pluralismo limitado (Graves, 1985, Huck Jr., 1997, González, 2005, Chabat, 2006). Com isso, buscava-se não apenas sustentar as demandas protecionistas do modelo de industrialização por substituição de importações, como também isolar a vida política interna de influências externas.Downloads
