Percebe-se um crescimento aproximado de 6,5x o valor de produtos
básicos (commodities, insumos, matérias-primas) exportados, enquanto os
semimanufaturados crescem (aproximadamente) 3,25x e os manufaturados
(aproximadamente), 2,47x. Em conjunto com o valor exportado, a somatória da
variação das exportações se dá em 232,8% para os produtos básicos, 150,9% para
os semimanufaturados e 110,2% para os manufaturados. A Tabela 2 esclarece
ainda mais a situação ao mostrar a participação percentual de cada fator agregado
na pauta de exportação do Brasil.

O crescimento de mais de 20% dos produtos básicos nas exportações brasileiras
entre o ano de 2002 e de 2014 se dá, obviamente, em detrimento da brusca queda
na importância que o setor de manufaturados recebeu. Os semimanufaturados
apresentaram ligeiro decréscimo. A título de curiosidade — e como forma de
compreender melhor a posição brasileira na divisão internacional do trabalho
—, a Tabela 3 corresponde às importações brasileiras no período estudado.
